The Hollywood
Restaurant was opened in 1933 by
Dan and Rose Cecora. Their two
daughters Bridget and Margaret
helped them with the daily
business. It was one the first
restaurants opened in the area.
The original liquor license
dated: April 12, 1933 is hanging
on the wall in the dining room
along with other pictures of
when the restaurant first
started. Joe and Bridget Colella
took over in 1966 for the 2nd
generation, renovating inside
and out. Sending 3 of their 5
children to The Culinary
Institute of America, the
youngest (Joe Jr.) is now the 3rd
generation family member
carrying on the tradition. |
